The restaurant

The Poisson d’Avril was born in 1991, and was the first restaurant in Quebec City to only serve seafood and fish. The restaurant was then located in the Côte de la Fabrique near the Basilique and the Town Hall.

In1996, the restaurant moved to the Old-Port (closer to the water!), right in front of the Marina and the market. A new adventure had just begun. The area of the Old-Port has since been refurbished and the restaurant now stands in the middfle of luxury condos, parks, galleries, antique shops and cycle paths.

The Poisson d'Avril continues to delight its visitors with gorgeous Bouillabaisse, mussels & fries , fresh fish and grilled meat (beef, lamb and game) in a friendly athmosphere that makes you want to come back...
